About Juliana
Juliana had several
years’ experience with the then Singapore Registry
of Companies & Businesses before entering private
practice. She was involved in a number of public listings
and deals generally with issues regarding compliance
by listed companies with the requirements of the Singapore
Exchange Securities Trading Limited. She has advised
on post-listing matters such as bonus issues, stock
split exercises and fund-raising exercises such as bonds,
rights and warrants issues as well as performing all
the normal corporate secretarial functions. She also
has considerable experience in general corporate law,
including work on sale and purchase agreements, joint
venture agreements, distribution and license agreements
and share subscription agreements. Juliana has also
advised on bank restructuring and general loan documentation.

About Lawrence
Lawrence handles all
areas of commercial litigation, arbitration and dispute
resolution. Specifically, his cases involve conflict
of laws, banking, admiralty, corporate law, intellectual

law and insolvency law. He was counsel in a Court of
Appeal case which prompted the Singapore and Malaysian
legislatures to amend their statutory laws. He has obtained
and discharged worldwide mareva injunctions. A reported
case of his had involved concurrent litigation in England,
Australia and Singapore with Queen’s Counsels.

About Jane
Jane’s main area
of practice is in real estate, which includes acquisitions,
dispositions, mortgages and charges of residential,
commercial and industrial properties. Jane has represented
most banks and financial institutions in Singapore and
the CPF Board for many years. Jane has also represented
key property developers in residential and commercial
projects. Apart from advising on residential and commercial
tenancies, Jane has also acted on behalf of established
landlords in large-scale leases in respect of commercial
buildings. Apart from property-related work, Jane also
handles intellectual property matters (including trade
mark registrations), drafting and vetting of a wide

Soo Chye’s areas
